Nancy's Ocean

Antiqued copper chain necklace, tons of silver, gold and copper sea and ocean creature charms and some really interesting shaped pearls.  I am not sure if this is the finished product yet, but I am close.  Maybe a few more beads with colors and we will see where we stand!

Copy Cat

I have had this Victorian copper pin forever and I have tried to put it together in a wearable fashion a handful of times. Recently, a friend posted a picture on Facebook of a steam punk choker...and I saw the pins future. I sawed off the pin back and smoothed out the raw edges, drilled a tiny hole at the bottom for a dangle, added the rings (a perfect earring find turned necklace adornment) and simply added the thick gross grain ribbon. My favorite part of this necklace is not only how well all of this came together, but the simplicity and elegance of the the ribbon tied closure.

ASIAN INFLUENCE

Another triumph in completed projects, this necklace and earring set boasts focal points direct from the far East!  The coins were drilled to be placed on simple earrings and I added the semi-precious round garnet to match the red of the necklace.  But the necklace, in all it's simplicity is dainty and still makes a big "sound".  The tiny bell pendant actually rings with each movement.  I merely added ceramic discs and cut rhondeles to catch the light!  Food for thought, if you travel often, pick up a few simple items to remember each location and make them into jewelry...I would be glad to help you with the design!
